The territory of the Middle Campidano is characterized by three different geographical areas for natural environments, such as to determine three different types of human settlement.
At the center of its productive agricultural draw the Campidano plain, to the east lies the Marmilla dotted with numerous small rural centers that are located on the gentle slopes of the hills that characterize it, while the west side is occupied by the mountainous relief of Linas, the mining area of considerable importance to the economy of the past, which borders the sea with extensive sandy deserts.

Emrgenze enclosing a series of landscapes and nature that make the Middle Campidano one of the most extraordinary land of Sardinia, on all Piscinas dunes that stretch along the Costa Verde in the municipality of Arbus, among the destinations the most desirable of the territory, and the Giara that the municipalities of Gesturi, Tuili, Setzu and Genoni.
Even the ancient story told here is among the most important of the island, with the site of Su Nuraxi nuragico which is located in the town of Barumini.
It is a settlement dating back nuragica developed around a dolmen quatrefoil, between the thirteenth and sixth centuries BC, a visit not to be missed.
