Some of the typical fishermen's shacks in rattan wood were spared and tell the story of these places, fueling suggestions favored also by the uniqueness of this area.
The Sinai Peninsula is a place like few others, so able to bring away with the mind, to travel in ancient times standing still there, where the most ancient civilizations of the island threw the first stones, those of Tharros, a must-see that borders on the cobalt blue sea.
San Giovanni di Sinis is set near of this peninsula, between ancient history and beaches, where an early Christian church dating from the fifth century merges into the landscape of dunes and rocks, and, a little farther on, a Spanish coastal tower stands to remind other stories , domain, of battles, of peoples.
The Sinai Peninsula is reached from Oristano towards Cuglieri, at the Sanctuary of Remedy take the flyover and follow the signs to Tharros where you arrive after about 20 km.
It parks next to the archaeological area of ??Tharros; The beach stretches on the right.
